Our History

NOADA is an outgrowth of the Northeast Ohio Art Dealers Association which was formed in 1990. This association was active in the 1990s, becoming dormant by the end of the decade. The association was revived in 2012 and has evolved into the Northern Ohio Art Dealers Association encompassing a select group of galleries and dealers from the region.

We formed as a trade organization to promote professionalism in the presentation and marketing of fine art, to educate the public in the sale and collecting of fine art, and to act as a collective voice to enhance the confidence of the public in responsible fine art dealers.

On ARTExpo 2014: "From established collectors to first time buyers, everyone visiting will find something that appeals to their taste."
